He graduated from the U. of Alabama (“Roll Tide”) and recently earned his M.Div at Gordon-Conwell, where he served as Student Body President. He served as a missionary in Pisa, Italy, worked on Capitol Hill as a congressional staffer, and spent the last eight years with Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC). He began with CBMC in the DC area and helped to launch their young professional initiative featuring events with many prominent business speakers and groups that focused on discipleship and evangelism. In 2011 he started the Boston chapter of CBMC, a ministry with a strong presence in the Boston business community. His life verses are Isaiah 30:18-21. He and his wife Becky have two young boys and a baby girl. Itinerant Pastor to the Elderly and Unchurched

Rev. Rolan DeLoach, Itinerant Pastor to the Elderly and Unchurched grew up in Lawrence, MA by way of Glennville, GA (You’ll have to ask him!).

He came to faith at 16 through baptism at First-Calvary Baptist Church, Lawrence, MA. His faith walk has taken him through many twists and turns over the years culminating with his ordination by First Church in 2010. His primary ministry is to nursing homes and social media. He made his living as a graphic designer and is a longtime resident of Boxford with his wife of 25+ years and their wonderfully goofy dog Woody, who accompanies Pastor Rolan to the nursing homes. He loves to garden and is always ready to join in all things Italian, Bocce anyone? He is a regular attendee at Men’s Lunch on Tuesdays. He enjoys reading and discussing every aspect of the War between the States. He is passionate to engage any discussion on how to interpret and apply God’s Word. His life verses are Luke 24:13-35, “Weren’t our hearts ablaze within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining the Scriptures to us?” Nothing excites him more than sharing God’s Word.

Though originally from Southern California, James was secretly always a New Englander at heart.

After growing up in Simi Valley, California, James came to Gordon College and graduated in 2007 with a double degree in Piano and Political Science . He also has a background in conducting, violin, and ensemble work, having performed with the Gordon College Choir and orchestra for numerous years.
