Here’s more of Jack’s story…
Converted at age 26 after a unique life, Jack entered vocational youth/prison ministry in 1978. He served with Kansas City Youth For Christ, Headwaters Christian Youth (Wisconsin); Family Life Ministries (New York), and has been with Midland Ministries (St. Joseph, Mo) since 2008. Jack has spoken in well over 1,400 school assembly programs challenging young people to think about choices and the results of those choices. He has also preached in over 200 prisons and jails, and speaks at 5 – 7 youth camps each summer. Jack is married to Jane, and they have three sons and one daughter with the two youngest children adopted at birth. Army brat, alcoholic, drug user, dealer, vet, ex-con…all these and more have been descriptive of Jack Hager; but the one that is current, and the one he prefers, is “new creation in Christ.”
