FCRA Audit Case Results

We have the happy news: we are cleared from the "violation" case. The FCRA auditors were surprised that our figures are so low. The first day they scrutinized all the receipts. They second day they reconciled the figures the bank statements with the statements we had sent to them earlier.

The only two other questions they asked were: who are the donors? Are they the only Donors? Our answer was in the affirmative. They checked up the evidence in their records. Once they realized that our answers and the statements matched with what they have in their records, the officer in-charge, Joshi, declared "we are cleared from the case and that means we can go ahead and renew it and do it before the 15th of March.2016". Right now we are not sure if we want to repeat this process. We are waiting on God for His guidance.

I am still not clear, though, as to where we have "violated". They did not indicate it in any way. We were glad that we were vindicated and did not have time to inquire as to why they have categorized as the violators". May be in future we will know.

Please thank God as much as you have interceded since it is His sheer grace that this happened. The first day was very bleak, the second day the atmosphere was totally different with the assurance that they will clear us out. We have no clue as to what made the difference --but for the Lord's intervention.

We are waiting for the written communication which should arrive by the end of the month.

We are planning visiting different families and sharing the Christmas story and give some Christmas gifts to the poor families.

Prayer Request from Clement Kuchipudi

Hope you are enjoying this Thanksgiving season.

Please pray for me as I am called for an interview with the Homeland Security in Delhi for two days in December, 16 and 17. I am given a long list of things, some 32 questions plus all the books for six years. I have no clue as to what they are up to. They may have something in mind that they gathered from my emails. The auditor is surprised about it since our accounts are clear and that the figures are negligibly small. As earlier, somebody might have complained again thinking that this is the best opportunity to intimidate me.

As in the case of Paul the Lord will stand with me at my defense (2 Tim. 4:17) but join with me in prayer so that at the end of the day, the Lord and His name be glorified. I need wisdom and courage and humility. As in the case of Nehemiah I may find favor in the sight of the officials. I cannot deny the Lord or His gospel, He loved me and gave His life for me, Gal. 2:20.

God's blessings on you as you "struggle" for me, Col. 2:1.

Hello Friend,

Extended greetings of July 4th to you!

We are praying fervently for this nation so that the American Independence with all the prosperity she represents may embrace biblical values -- values that are the best, our estimation. May the American Church have the wisdom to present those values not as religious values which can be easily dispensed with by other religious faiths but as values essential for transformation! It is needed in the sense that her children and grand children will be enabled to live in a better world.

I taught four Sundays at the First Church, on Developing View in May - June. The material that was presented was appreciated much though it was overwhelming for some.

For the 28^th June, Sunday, we were at the First Presbyterian Church, Hannibal, MO. I spoke at the church three times and they appreciated the teaching on the BIBLE, the Hindu worldview and How to Present the Gospel. Hannibal is the home of Mark Twain whether you like him or not. We stayed with a very loving family of doctors who not only appreciated the teaching, but provided loving hospitality and protective shelter during the tornado that was meant to pass through Hannibal. From Hannibal MO we went to Rev. Cliff Mansley at Joplin MO and taught, four sessions on Steel Girders for Mind Builders. It was a good time though the attendance was not great due to July 4 week end. We stayed with a young couple, Steve and Rachel. Steve is a dynamic youth minister of Cliff's church, New Creation. It was such a joy to see Cliff and Jane and their ministry of transformation-- a greater joy to see their children, Abby and Sam grow in all aspects of life.

For the July 4 weekend we went for some relaxation in Chicago with the family. On Sunday the 5th, we went to a nearby church, near to the hotel where we were staying. It was a Chinese church and later we learnt that it is a Seventh Day Adventist Church. Anyway, it was surprise to meet the Indian church where we knew half the members. I used to teach them while we were going to the Seminary in Deerfield, IL but now under a different name. We could not have met them all unless the Lord arranged it this way providentially. I was asked to tell about the Ashram ministry.

I am preparing to teach the pastors in India on "Interpreting Psalms" by Skype. In my absence, the Ashram conducted a one-day Seminar in a city going to become the new state capital. Over 50 pastors attended and showed a great desire to enroll into the Ashram Pastors Training.

We had a great time in Cincinnati with the Grace Ev. Free Church on the 12^th. I spoke on the theme Christian and Politics. I was sharing on the current situation in India and for the need to pray for the church that is going through persecution under the new regime.

One PTS (Pittsburgh Theological Seminary) student is planning to visit us in India early September to learn from the Indian pastors as to how they do for church growth.

Thanks for praying fervently and for including the Ashram needs with the awareness that the “weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strong holds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” 2 Cor. 10: 4-5.

Celebration of 70 Years

Hello Friend,

Today, the fifth of Feb, is my birthday. Lima (but not her family) surprised me by standing in front of me and wishing me "Happy Birthday". Sathya is celebrating it on Saturday the 7th because it is the completion of 70 years -- three score and ten as the Scripture puts it.

It is a celebrating God's grace on my life when I think of my 15 years of sickness -- six times on the death bed -- prior to the surgery in Nagaland in 1976; when I think of Sathya agreeing to marry me in 1975 when I was a "dying man"; when I think of my children and their families who love the Lord and are active in their respective churches in spite of my inadequacy to bring them up while we were in India and they in the US; when I think of my prolonged life after the 11 months of maximum life prescribed by the surgeons; when I think of doing my master's and doctoral studies that too at Trinity after that major surgery; when I think of good health and strength to be able to travel and teach the Scriptures; when I think of the great and godly people who were brought into my life -- people like you -- who love me and support me at every level of my life; when I think of my humble beginnings in a village; when I think of my parents coming from heathen background; and supremely when I think of that wonderful revelation to me that Jesus Christ loved me and gave Himself for me, Gal 2:20 -- I have no words to express my gratitude to God except to plead with Him to help me to model the gospel I preach and teach.

Hello Friend,

Happy Independence Day! We are praying and hoping that the country will

not only get back to the glory it has had in the past but excel the past in

order to be relevant to the contemporary situation May the good Lord bless

her in such a way that the Church may experience revival and that the

community will see how awesome the living Lord is and then put their trust

in Him through the gospel.

Tomorrow evening, Saturday evening on the 5th of July, I am speaking on

The Role of Christians in the Present Political Situation in India at an

Annual Gathering organized by an organization called HITHA (Hyderabad

Institute for Theology and Apologetics) Please pray.

I am teaching for three months on Understanding the book of Revelation

every Wednesday and Saturday in the evening from 7-9 beginning from next

Wednesday. It is a difficult task since most of the audience is sold out

on Dispensationalism. I would value your prayer for this...

I am also teaching Theological Foundations for thee months on Tuesdays and

Thursdays beginning from next Tuesday the 9th of July organized by HITHA.

This is not an easy task to put concisely on the worldview of the

Scriptures.

I am also part of a Bible Study on Mondays and Fridays and they call this

group Rhema Study Group. Frankly I do not like the connotation given to

the word Rhema. But . . . if I could help them some way . . . !

Kindly uphold me in prayer that these Sessions might be fruitful.
