From Pastor Andrew’s Desk

Greetings FCCB family!
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement for myself and a group of us who just went down to Virginia for the Great Banquet. It was a truly wonderful, amazing weekend as all of us experienced afresh the Lord’s love and grace along with some great laughs plus times of reflection in seeking the Lord together.

This will be a great Sunday. First join us at 9:00 am for Sunday School as we look to the Lord and take the opportunity to pray for each other.

Then for our worship service, Dr. Tom Pfizenmaier will be preaching on Exodus 12:1-17 and Matthew 26:26-30, looking at profound parallels between Passover and Communion. What great timing as we’ll be partaking in Communion this Sunday. May the Lord bless our time in taking the Lord’s Supper. Also, Hernany Da Silva went to the Great Banquet last weekend and will be sharing his experience. It’ll be wonderful to hear his story!

This Sunday will be Steve Kercher’s first Sunday leading worship here at FCCB which will be a great joy! Here are a few words from Steve…

We’ll be singing two songs that may be unfamiliar, but two that I believe fit well with the sermon and communion. To listen to these recordings and be ready to sing out to our God Sunday morning just click on the title below…

So check out the links above and take a minute to sing along! Thanks Steve for thinking about how to help us worship!

Don’t forget tomorrow we join with Tom and Kori and celebrate their marriage with pizza, salad and dessert beginning at 6:00 pm in the FLC. Make sure you contact Gerri White and let her know you are coming so we have enough food. And here’s some fun…Becky and I will be participating in the Newlywed Game along with some of you.

I look forward to catching up with you plus seeking the Lord together this Sunday!

Blessings,
Pastor Andrew
