CURRENT NEEDS

The FCCB Food Pantry was established in 2009 as an outreach ministry by several members of our church desiring to reach the local community in a tangible way.

Recognizing that God has blessed us to be a blessing, the First Church Food Pantry serves as a vehicle to share the overwhelming abundance God has showered on us with those in need in our community.  Perishable and non-perishable food is shared with love and respect to those who come for assistance.  It is our intention that they receive not only food for their physical hunger, but generous portions of kindness and grace to feed their spiritual and emotional hungers as well.  We believe the words of Jesus that this is one way we can respond directly to God’s love for us: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”  Matthew 25:35

All food and household items are graciously donated by church members and our generous community.  If you would like to donate, you may drop off non-perishable items Tuesday – Friday from 9 am – 4 pm in the receptical located inside the door of our 4 Georgetown Road entrance (look for the church office sign).  Alternatively, the pantry is open every Wednesday from 2 – 6 pm.  You can also make a monetary donation by clicking HERE.
