On November 14, 2015, First Church Boxford held their third Stop Hunger Now packaging event.  Once again, we were blessed with not only terrific support from our church body, but also local high school students, Girl Scouts, service clubs and other congregations.  In less than three hours, 18,600 meals were packaged and ready for shipping, thanks to such great help.  This was our third Stop Hunger Now event over the last three years, with total meals reaching over 51,000.  The last two years, our meals fed children in Haiti and Malawi, Africa.

The funding for our last event came from donations from our members and friends, as well as our corporate sponsors.  The ingredients for each meal costs $.29 per meal.
